YVES DERUYTER

Yves Deruyter started his DJ career in 1985, making waves in famous Belgian clubs such as Globe, Barocco, Cherrymoon, Extreme, Carat, BBC, La Rocca and many more. In 1991, he started producing and his first single “Animals”, released on the legendary Bonzai Records, became a big club hit in Belgium. Following the success of his first track, Deruyter played the biggest raves – from May Day to Love Parade, from Nature One to Inner City, I Love Techno, and of course Tomorrowland.

The success of Yves’ next singles, among which “Rave City” and “In My Electric House” (Cherrymoon Trax) , gained him fame way beyond the Belgian market, selling like hot cakes. Yves Deruyter went on and released “Rhytmic Bazz”,  “Back to Earth” and “Music-Nonstop”, which had a significant influence on the trance club scene, helping shape many careers in EDM.

Yves’ famous cover of Underworlds classic “Born Slippy” is, still nowadays, a hugely memorable track. The single “Infinity” followed and was picked up by many compilations, radio shows and DJ’s alike. Yves has mixed and produced many compilations himself including mega mixes for Bonzai Records.

With new studio work on the way, Yves’ releases are highly anticipated by his fans and followers.
